Come join us for the Westside return of JACOBISDEAD aka Jacob Luttrell! Originally from Fresno, Jacob is no stranger to the music business. Like many of the great artists of the last century, Jacob first discovered his love for music in the church. 

It was there that he learned intricate harmonies, developed his amazing piano feel and discovered his life's true calling. An almost entirely self-taught musician, Jacob not only sings and plays the piano, but he's also an accomplished drummer, guitarist, and saxophonist!

Originally formed as duo in 2006, consisting of Meredith Moore's deep and colorful vocals and Mikel Lander's gritty and gutsy guitar picking style and vocal approach, today they are backed by the most talented rhythm section west of the Mississippi. With Jeff Naylor on upright and electric bass and Todd Chuba on drums, The Sugar Thieves are truly a force to be reckoned with!

Blending piano and organ live, he pulls from nearly a century of music, reimagining songs from the 1920's to the present with a stripped-down, late-night feel.
