Arizona Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Chuck Hall, is back at Westside Blues and Jazz. Born and raised on the Texas side of Louisiana, Chuck Hall has been playing guitar since the age of 10 and has continued an electrifying Blues career for over five decades. Chuck Hall has opened shows for B.B King, Johnny Winter, Gregg Allman, Charlie Musselwhite, Hans Olson, Los Lobos and may more throughout his career. The Chuck Hall Band consists of the best musicians in their craft. Come hear for yourself.

Mi Gente! The Westside Blues and Jazz Club is reopening, and we are scheduled to perform for CINCO DE MAYO! May 5th from 3 - 6 PM. It will be a soulful Salsa Sunday afternoon. Musician Wes john Cichosz has a little bit of everything in his music. Shades of folk, jazz, rock and soul shine through in unique proportion. A schooled guitarist and saxophonist tempered in the fires of the Chicago music scene, he brings to bear the passion and experience of his multifaceted career in every performance. From writing and producing to performing virtually all styles of music, he continues to impress in the southwest with a unique approach to song. Whether solo or with a group, Wes is certain to bring a thoughtful liveliness to any venue.

In trying to describe The Sugar Thieves’ sound, it only makes sense to call it good old American roots music. American music has always been a melting pot of styles including blues, jazz, country, folk, gospel, and rock and roll. All of these genres describe sounds that move us, and The Sugar Thieves blend all of these influences to create a sound that moves audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Their goal is to share their passion for great songs with the audience by exhibiting high energy showmanship and raw emotion with every performance. Firmly rooted in the blues, the Sugar Thieves have a love for all things Americana. On any given night the band will mix original songs with American covers spanning the last 120 years.

The AMBER BAND plays soulful music for dancing and grooving. Rockin, funky covers from the 60s to today along with killin' original tunes guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed!

Amber Rogers is a singer with a dynamic stage presence and tons of soul. Tom Mein is a groovy guitarist with years of experience and style for miles. Together with Charge Michael, Rich Alfano, Elliot Fox and Derek Nellis – the smoking players that make up the Amber Band – they perform soulful interpretations of classic tunes and write moving original music. Amber and Tom also perform as a duo for more intimate events and venues.
