Join us for a Jazzy, R&B Christmas performance by Typhanie Monique & Friends! An internationally recognized recording artist, Typhanie Monique's soul-infused-jazz vocals have graced the Chicago music scene for over 20 years, and we're so excited to have her for a special holiday show! This show will open with special guest, singer/songwriter Cassidy Brooke. 

From the Chicago Jazz Showcase, City Winery, to the Chicago Jazz Festival, Ms. Monique has toured internationally and is one of Chicago's beloved jazz singers. Still residing in Chicago, Typhanie joined ASU's Popular Music program as Associate Professor of Popular Music, Voice, and we're so thrilled to have her while she's in town!

Short for Fred, Alan, and Terry, the F.A.T. Band is a dynamic jazz-funk fusion trio with deep roots and undeniable chemistry. Milwaukee natives and lifelong friends, the trio first connected in junior high and sharpened their craft studying jazz together through high school. Now based in Phoenix, they've reunited to create a sound that's bold, soulful, and unmistakably their own.

With Fred driving the pocket on drums, Alan laying down deep bass grooves, and Terry bringing rich textures on keys, the F.A.T. Band blends tight musicianship with fearless improvisation. Known for their expressive sound and genre-defying style, they deliver a high-energy fusion experience that resonates with both jazz lovers and groove seekers alike.

Join us for a benefit concert for pianist Charlie Smith. Recently, Charlie was the victim of a random, unprovoked assault outside a grocery store, resulting in significant dental injury and the loss of several front teeth. The restorative work comes with ongoing and future costs and Charlie’s friends and musical community have come together to help him recover comfortably! 

This concert—organized by his friend, James Robertson, is both a fundraiser and a chance to hear Charlie do what he does best. The program will feature blues, jazz, and the genre-blurring spontaneity Charlie is known for: re-imagined standards, groove-driven sets, and shifting small-ensemble combinations throughout the afternoon. Expect everything from intimate piano features to high-energy collaborations with guest musicians.

It’s an afternoon built around music, community, and support—offering audiences a chance to enjoy an artist whose creativity and generosity have shaped so many performances in Phoenix.

Come join us for a very special performance of Barrio Latino as we host a food drive for the Salvation Army! Enjoy excellent music, delicious drinks, and look at some phenomenal cars as we also welcome the Pachuco Car Club!

Barrio Latino has been around since 1990, and has taken on many musical shapes and forms in performances across the U.S. and around the world. Led by Andy Gonzales on vocals, bass & guitar, with the extraordinary Freddie Duran on vocals, guitar & sax, the flamboyant personality and showmanship of Benny Banda on vocals & percussion, veteran guitar player Paul Aldama, with Andrew Gonzales, Jr. on congas & hand percussion, Xavier Acosta on drums, and rounding out the ensemble with the brilliant songwriting and smooth style of Ernie Nunez, Jr. on vocals and guitar.

Come join us for the return of Old-School, New School, Blue School! With 3 different blues artists each performing their unique take on the blues, this is a blues variety show unlike any other, and one you don't want to miss!

Hosted by Rinus Pauel, aka Rino, a singer-songwriter, live performer, and professional guitarist from the Netherlands, Rino has played in various venues across Europe. His original music is best described as Indie-folk, with heavy influences from blues, rock, funk, jazz, and soul to resonate with all audiences.

With a backing band consisting of Jerred Williamson, Aviv Silverman, and Antonio Smith, there's only FOMO if you're not here! The best music in the Valley on Thursdays happens on the Westside!
